Monday again??
Ugh, I hate mondays. Then again after not having to get up for work (training does not count!!) for almost a week, dragging my sorry butt out of bed this morning was rough. But I made it and I have stuff to do, but I'll get there. The boss is out again.
My weekend was pretty cool. Went to the Comicon on Friday for a bit. Some of the stories the artists come up with are definitely interesting. One person came up with a concept-a cartoon character trapped in hell. :) Sounded pretty neat. Then went to Monete Carlo night and as always I hung out with
spacemonkeycomx most of the night as always and as always was a good time. Continued to meet some cool new people as well. The Steve(
gc_storyteller) fan club is ever increasing in size :) So I had a blast, and got to listen to some horrible karoke after the black jack ended as well :) One of these years I might get drunk enough to try it. ;)
Saturday was spent getting half a floor laid (I have a pic of it, but I need to download it). This has been a work in progress for about 2 1/2 years now, so its exciting seeing it get done finally :)
Sunday I went to
jjhindman's Jafra party (http://www.jafra.com/en/home/index.html) It was definitely a fun time. Its always nice to be pampered and get to be feminine for an afternoon :) I also enjoyed getting to hang out with janine and her family for a while as well. Her little ones are growing up so fast though.
So that was my weekend in a nutshell. And now its back to reality. I have a bunch of things to get done here today since its the last day of the month, I have some quilt blocks that need to get made by the weekend for the
birthday_blocks group and I have a cross stitch baby quilt that needs to get done by next month. And I have another baby blanket I need to make. So the vacation has definitely ended. But it was a nice week-very relaxing and much needed. But I definitely had a blast.
