Hey all,
So I made it back in one piece. Although that was questionable for a while. The flight home was a little bit bumpy. And the plane left a half hour late :P Oh well. What can ya do right? But all in all, it was a good and relaxing trip. I didn't learn as much as I'd hoped I would. but I picked up a few things. Now I get the joys of unpacking, laundry-shopping etc. ugh.
The meals both nights were pretty good. The first night we went to this place called the Continental. They served us free appetizers. The buns were like this pop ups or pop overs. They were really light and flaky and good. We had wings and some type of spinach thingy and corn fritters. And they were all free!! Then we had dinner. I had seafood and my co-worker had chicken parm. The food was good and filling.
Wednesday night we ate at a place called the Firebull. It was a Brazilian BBQ. If you ordered from the buffet, they brought you your sides which were rice, some type of bean mixture and some type of pic de gallo type thing. Then the fun started. They brought meat around on a spit and cut you pieces off of the spit. I had pork spareribs, roast beef, sirloin, chicken and lamb. It was all good. I will admit it was a heart attack waiting to happen though :P But it was good and well worth it.
Last night was at the airport and not even worth mentioning. I have to admit. sitting in an airport for three hours is not my idea of fun. But such is life right. And no I didn't get to do much site seeing cuz my co-worker didn't really want to drive far-so I saw the inside of a hotel room for two days. But that's okay. It wasd still a nice and relaxing trip. But now its back to reality.
I must be off to go do stuff. :P
