peace & justice center!
Got the internship at the Peace and Justice Center in Burlington! I'm going to be spending most of my time working on the Livable Wages Campaign (meetings, research, forums, tabling etc.), and a few hours in the Peace and Justice Store every week. Plus I'll get to live with Jenn for a month!! I got a message from Tiff yesterday saying she heard through the grape vine I was trying to get an internship at the P&J Center and that she was going to write me a letter of recommendation. I miss her. Everything is equable, which I like, but not much else is new. I've been working at Saratoga Apple Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays, reading a lot, and have hung out with Dorothy a few times. I try to see Jenn on the weekends, and I usually do. Weather is starting to stay cold, so I make lots of fires in the woodstove and drink lots of cinnamon coffee. Dorothy and I spent last evening 'driving around' and then consumed an entire triangle wedge of brie, some wheat crackers and calamata olives. I might head to Burlington this weekend... first Friday of the month is Ladies Night at Pearl's. Looking forward to going back to Wells, hope everyone is okay.
