People SUCK!!!
Ok, I work at a gas station; at night. I deal with people and money.. not a great combo. Now I have to do day breaks where I basically break the computer for the day and cash out the drawer and print the records for the day.
Now being a girl, I lock the door, with a sign that says "Be Right Back". Not that hard to comprehend. So I'm doing my thing and a car pulls up. I ignore them. Then like idiots try the door instead of reading the sign right in front of their faces. Again I ignore them, but they continue and so do I. Finally they get fed up and leave; god forbid they wait till I'm done, right?! So I go about my work trying to finish this.
Now this guy drives up and does the same thing except he come up to the window right behind me and starts banging and yelling for my attention. Now I'm pissed and yell back, " Do you mind if I finish my paperwork?!" Then he gives me attitude , so finally I get done and open the door and I make sure he sees the sign. He sneers and mean and said "what's that suppose to mean? You're here."
I counter, "Maybe I'm doing something that requires not having customers around!" And just gives me attitude and I give it right back .Then he says "your job is to help customers" and I go off! He leaves in a huff, like I offend him!!!
I bet he hasn't worked a day in his life!! Anyone in the service world knows you need to be polite cause we catch shit all day.
Well anyone who has manners and common sense anyhow.
Let me tel you something... Post workers don't go postal.. Gas Station workers go postal. Movie Theater workers go Postal!!!!!
We deal with the rudest, and most stupid people. Working here shows you that Mankind needs to be eliminated. That parents don't know how to raise their damn kids!
I'm not saying I'm perfect, far from it. And I do yell and cuss at customer service people, but I always apologize before, during and after. I have the decency to say "I'm sorry, I know you are not to blame, but I'm pissed."
When mankind comes to an end, I'm going to be saying that 80% of mankind deserve it.
