Thanks. I was just in the mood for re-watching some of their early cuteness.

The lift scene was cuteness itself, but what I really loved was Maca's face after Esther said she'd like to do it again - I think that smile said it all - and Esther's nervousness was also very sweet.

It was also interesting to see how Tereasa treats Maca during these early episodes - the looks on her face aren't exactly friendly - especially when comparing it to the most recent episode or any, really, post-tortilla. I mean she still scolds her but it's now done with deep affection, as it's always been with Esther.

I kind of miss Rusti.

I love Maca's face after Esther's confession; it definitely said it all, I agree. What I also love, is Esther's description of Maca to Rusti. That Maca makes her feel special and unique. So sweet.

Teresa is one of my favourite characters on the show, hands down. It's interesting to see how the relationship between her and Maca has developed during the four seasons the latter has been on. In the beginning Teresa can't seem to get over the fact that Maca's a Wilson, brining it up whenever she can and, basically, not even giving her a chace. Then she realizes, little by little, how happy Maca makes Esther and how wonderful a person she actually is. And like yellow_tape mentioned below, the scene where Teresa gives Maca her family necklace is one of the sweetest scenes.

I guess Teresa is like that at the beginning due to the fact Maca is the new kid yet; then when the whole Maca & Esther couple issue comes into light, she get's a little distressed as well, but when she realizes how happy Esther is by being with Maca she kind of start putting Maca under her wing too.

A very touching scene is when Teresa gives Maca a 'family' necklace (we can see it on the icon above, sharing space with those oh so sexy 'lunares') for the doctor to wear at the wedding... it is, at some level, a mother and daughter relationship they end up developing.

Thanks for the translation.

Yeah, I agree. She grows to love Maca when she realizes she's not the stuck-up bitch she thought she was. And I definitely see it as a mother-daughter relationship in the end as well; the wedding is a sort of a manifest of it. I mean, Teresa stays with Maca at the altar, although her parents eventually do arrive.

I love the way they developed Teresa's character in sync with the Maca/Esther relationship. She evolved from "OMG, they are going to sleep together?! That's so wrong!" to "I'll stand by you at the altar as you tie the knot." Remarkable.
