cool, so the modulator you're referring to is actually an antenna RF modulator; i actually have one here but it doesn't work too well (its cable is a bit loose, but is usually fine if it doesn't move much and it's out of the way of excited gamers who jump all over the place, disrupting its smooth connection); another alternative is, if you have a VCR, you can plug in the AV inputs ( i have some) to it and run it from channel 3 and the vcr's line-in (usually before channel 1).

At zohar.net, there are links to Mac emulators: http://www.zophar.net/mac/psx.html
workable ones i remember using a while back were Flarestorm and VGS, and i think PCSX might work.

You could also download save states (not sure where) for the games near where your progress was.

I have Chrono Trigger as CD-R though it might be at home in Berwyn. You could also download it as a .rar/.zip.7z or .iso file from isohunt.com with BitTorrent and burn the image with Nero as I have done with some games like Arc the Lad Collection (1-3) and the never-released-because-the violence was for "super grown-ups" (18+ AO rating)- Thrill Kill.

Other games I have (most of these are real CDs), starting with some of my favorite are: Twisted Metal 2, Legend of Mana, Driver 2, Driver, FF Anthology, FF8. chrono cross (the last 2 are at home and about 40 others from about 5 years ago), Crash Bash, Crash Bandicoot 3. i have to organize all my cds but many others can be downloaded with isohunt & BitTorrent.

i'm at the Union currently, but i should be home in a few hours. i can bring some over later tonight. ttyl!
