(no subject)
yesterday, i tried uploading pictures of the lamp i rewired and also pictures of the fabric i am using to build a lampshade for it (may i say an intriguing paisley with red?). a hanger! and fabric! and misc. tools! truly, i felt pretty mcgyverish even though it does not take much skill at all.
house of ten: we have finally moved out of it and finished cleaning it. well, we still need to take some pictures and clear some things out but dear god, this week + nightmare is finally over. when taking a break from it = the 30 mins it takes to go to taco bell/nero's and scarf that shit down on the porch, it is pretty clear that the situation is bad.
we went to cowboy monkey tonight and i'm excited for salsa there tomorrow too. woohoo!
i can't play chrono trigger (again) (yet) because i need a modulator for the ps1. sad, so sad.
arabic classes are tough.
a few days ago, allison and christina and i ate the most decadent (yet somehow incredibly cheap) meal of elephant garlic and onions, roasted on pecan raisin bread. baby artichokes with a butter-lemon juice-pepper-garlic dipping sauce. fruit salad of mango, strawberries, oranges. delicious delicious wine she picked up from a winery in napa.
