You just don't get movie synopses like this anymore...
Disguising herself as a man, Sylvia Scarlett (Katharine Hepburn) boards a ferry with her improvident father (Edmund Gwenn) to smuggle some expensive stolen lace and sell it for a handsome profit. But complications ensue when the duo hooks up with a rakish jewel thief (Cary Grant).
This may be the only Hepburn+Grant movie I haven't seen. What cracks me up at the moment is the expensive stolen lace. Because stolen lace is a serious business. Also there's a scandalous kiss between Hepburn and a lady in this one.
