(no subject)
I don't get bookstores... they know it's gonna sell out they have a heap of pre-orders but they only get enough copies to fill their existing pre-orders without stocking the shelf. Okay it was my fault for not pre-ordering but heck if i didn't pre-order Harry Potter and got a copy no problem I figured this wouldn't be too hard. I called the closest bookstore to work this morning and they told me they probably wouldn't have any copies beyond the the pre-order list but they'd put my name down just in case. Luckily i got the last copy and just picked up my book.
Not holding out high hopes for brilliance but it hopefully will be a fun light read that I can mock a lot.
If they don't turn Bella into a vamp by halfway into this book I swear i'm going to turn myself into a fictional vampire, jump into the book and bite the bitch myself. If I have to put up with her bitching about not being turned for another book i'm going to scream. (Can you tell i'm not particularly fond of this character?)
Also please no more imprinting on toddlers... There is very little that squicks me out but this is creepy.
If they do anything bad to Alice i'm gonna be pissed.
Oh well lunch time over... back to work now.
