While I’ve been working up here I’ve been playing around with the songs that I have and have now finished the soundtracks for Studio 60, Greys Anatomy Seasons 1 and 2. I’m part way through Season 3 right now (it should be done by the time I get home). Each CD has about 20 songs and runs just under 80 minutes so that it can be burnt onto a CD and also has a track listing so if anyone wants instead to label them and put them onto an MP3 player they can. I’ve also zipped the files so they are all around 100 Mb to download.
I’ve made an effort with the Greys Soundtracks to not include the songs on the commercially released CD’s. Now with a couple of tracks that’s impossible (Season 1 has the theme song, Season 2 has Chasing Cars) but mostly it’s all new stuff. I’ve also tried to avoid multiple songs by the same band (again didn’t happen with Season 1 there are two Get Set, Go songs cause I couldn’t choose between them). Both CD’s are very laid back, relaxed type music with a couple of faster tracks thrown in. They’re also a little heavy on the chick music but that’s mainly because that’s what the producers use a lot of.
So my question for anyone interested (and is anyone actually interested?) is how do we want to do this? The easiest way for me would probably be to upload them to somewhere like Sendspace or You Send It and whoever wants to download them can but would that be a problem for anyone on slower connections?
And now I will stop the spamming.
