I'm currently in Japan and I still don't understand how cd/dvd releases work... I learned yesterday via paaaan lj that kanjani8 dvd was already in store...
Well, I've been out yesterday in Harajuku, Omotesando and shibuya and I can tell you there not a single ad for this dvd, no big billboard on the way (but HeySayJump have one for their past

I know how ya feel, love. It's like...even though they are getting some sort of 'recognition' for their amazingness...they are still being overshadowed. Those guys have worked to damn hard to be treated like the 'step-children' of JE...but I can't help but feel that they are still being a little neglected.

I was hoping for better "treatment" for them from the management. Maybe in kansai there are more promotion ? I was watching fuji yesterday in the morning, as it was one of their few time for advertising. Yoko & Mary were there but they only talk for like 2-3 minutes (on a 2hours-long show)... Still they can sell without proper promotion, it's a good thing for them to have a solid fanbase !

Well that's just ridiculous. Especially after 47 did so well, you'd think they would make an effort to advertise this DVD so it'll sell well too. Stupid Teichiku (or whoever's responsible for this).

That's why I don't understand, 47 was the number one dvd ! Maybe, as arashi is already the 1 for 2009, they don't try to make another good seller ? That would be stupid ! I think it's impossible to understand anything about johnny's ent marketing ...

Maybe it was embarrassing that 47 beat the more popular groups' DVDs for #1, so someone decided to sabotage them this time. XD I blame Johnny, as I do for most stupid things, but I'd think K8's record company at least would want them to do well...
