It's worth reading Mark Bittman's column on the state of fish production. Industrially farmed fish is often fed fish meal, needing several pounds of feed to raise one pound of people-food, something that's awefully reminiscent of the many pounds of corn/soy/etc needed to raise one pound of beef in a feed lot. Trader Joe's discontinued their Tuna in (Green | Red | Yellow) Curry pouches, despite the fact that it was the best instant lunch ever and got good reviews. Actual sales must've been disappointing.

I know you can get plain tuna in pouches. Does anyone else sell tuna in curry similar to TJ's? Can't find anything offhand.

Where did I get this notion that food looks particularly good served on blue plates? If it *is* true, why don't restaurants use them?

Odwalla, Muir Glen, Gardenburger, Kashi, Garden of Eatin', Spectrum... many natural & organic food brands are owned by much bigger mainstream corporations like ConAgra, Kraft, and Pepsi.
