Sittin' in the car & shit... Lol
So I'm sitting in my car waiting for Cody to finish his meeting with his PO and decided I should probably update cause it's been a while and I don't have anything better to do ATM (haha).
So Cody got out of the halfway house on Friday and it's super nice actually having him there vs laying in bed with a phone texting or video chatting. I also got my Mirena switched that day (I got a prescription to stop the UTIs and Nuvaring has estrogen in it which makes me bitchy and can cause endometriosis to worsen so it'd very much be counterproductive... Speaking of endometriosis, apparently that could be the cause of my stomach/digestion issues, as silly as that sounds. I read something online saying it can cause digestive issues, in particular with dairy and meats. And I didn't have any issues until after puberty and it's been on and off which kinda lines up with when I was or wasn't on birth control. I haven't had any issues since Mirena, which I assumed was because of the drugs, but I've been clean nearly a year and a half and am still fine).
Anyway, I had 3 days off in a row last weekend which was nice, but still wasn't long enough. I tell Danny every day I want off 6 days but Bill won't let him hire anyone else, apparently. Cody's got some jobs lined up, too. Should be starting at a landscaping service with his best friend Blake by the end of the week it sounds like, and then once he's able to get a car he's gonna apply at the Foundry in Battle Creek cause apparently they pay about $1,000/wk at the starting wages. As for me, I've talked to a couple hair stylists I know about apprenticeships and might be able to do one at Fluid Salon in East Lansing. I'd still stay at the shop, but just less days, which I was planning on cutting down my days anyway. I'm gonna talk to Shells and see if she wants to run desk at south on Mondays or Tuesdays since she's there anyway for her apprenticeship. Then she can get paid for another one of the days she spends there and I can get an extra day off. She definitely isn't too busy with the apprenticeship to do both, she's just at the point where she needs to practice piercing now. And I'll still work on my piercing apprenticeship too and just kinda see where things go. It sounds like if we do end up switching to salary it'll be about $75/day which is $375 for 5 days, if I'm not mistaken, and considering I haven't broken $300 in a minute (other than my 7 day week) with 6 days, that would be very much welcomed!). And we could definitely afford a place with approx $1,300 coming in weekly (if I drop down to 4 days) plus It Works! money and that sort of stuff. That's nearly $6,000/month probably, between the 2 of us.
And I know, I know... I don't have to move in with him just because we're dating and the other times I did it turned out disastrous, but this time I'm actually making a conscious decision to do so whereas I kinda fell into it before because Steven and Rambo overstayed their welcome and never left. Plus he's definitely gonna be pulling more than his own weight vs relying on me to pay for everything. He makes a point to not do that stuff because he knows what my exes were like and doesn't want me to think he's like that too. Plus, we lived together in a small motel room w/ Steven and Hayley for a few weeks 3 years ago when we were both at our absolute worst/lowest point and didn't want to kill each other then, so I'm sure now that we have our shit together and have plans for the future and stuff vs being crazy pseudo-homeless junkies just worrying about the next fix, I'm sure it'll be just fine! Lol.
Oh! Crazy rain out of nowhere! Again! Haha... So many crazy bursts of rain lately, especially when I'm in East Lansing for some reason.
Oh! Oh! And David and Rachael are having a baby girl in January and she's gonna be the bestest thing and is gonna do a cool dance routine at my wedding someday (so I just gotta wait for her to be born and get big enough to learn a dance routine before I plan my wedding 😂 haha)
Gotta be to work in 50 min... Damn, he's been up there a min, but a lot of times they tell a bunch of people to show up at the same time and deal with you in the order you show up, and it's the first meeting so they're trying to sort out his living situation (basically his case worker says he can't live with his dad and brother but his PO says he hasn't heard anything about this, and obviously it makes more sense for him to be with his dad and brother vs staying at a homeless shelter with a bunch of crackheads who can't get their lives together like they expect him to be doing).
So bored and hungry. I've been eating Taco Bell again lately for some reason. Idk why lol.
Umm... I feel like I have more to talk about but I don't remember now... Oh! Jake and Malissa are still a ridiculous mess of a couple. He's got basically all his music and tattooing stuff at my house cause she's been getting mad and breaking things she knows he cares about, and apparently they started fooling around the other night and she REAKED of "anal rapage", as he put it. Basically she smelled super strong of after-sex vagina, through her pants even, and when she noticed his face when he smelt it she was like "yeah sorry if I smell, I was running around all day at work..." like he's stupid, smh. They've been together 20 years and have fucked after she's worked all day before, he knows how that smells and how you smell after sex, duh... So yeah, he keeps saying he's done and moving in with his foster brother (also named Cody) when she goes to work and then it never happens, so we'll see. When I confront him about why he's still there he says either "cause despite all this I really do love her" to which I respond "yeah, but do you like her?" And he says "fuck no, I can't stand her!", or he'll say "cause we've been together for 10 YEARS. You don't know what it's like to be with someone for 10 years", and then I tell him "no, I don't, because I leave my boyfriends when they start pulling bullshit like that so it doesn't make it to 10 years, and you should have left her YEARS ago but you decided to keep putting up with it."... It's actually kinda scary how cold and calculating she is, and how well she hides it.
Damn, if he doesn't finish up in there soon I'm gonna have to leave for work 😕 and he left his phone in the car, too 😬 ugh. I gotta pee tho so I might just run in there and see if they have a public bathroom and try to stop in there and see what's up.
