Sorry, I forgot to post in October.
Life is going well here. All the guys I was seeing (there were a couple-ish) I'm not seeing any more which sucks sometimes, but we're all still friends which is a good thing.
Classes are going well. Lessons are going well. We registered for classes for the spring semester and I'm really happy with what I have. I was a little disappointed when I discovered that the voice department isn't taking any auditions for secondary lessons for next semester. I guess I'll have to wait until next fall to even think about it. I suppose I could pay by the hour to study with a student, but I don't particularly have any money with which to do that. Who knows. So instead of voice lessons, I'm taking a classical era music history class. Its with the same professor that I have now for music history 101 and he's really great. It should be a good class.
I've been having a lot of consistency issues with the bassoon. Its just a bit frustrating, but I think I'm beginning to cultivate a mind set that will help me out in the motivation/practice/consistency department.
I'm trying to set up a winter-term project studying with Seth Krimsky in Seattle. If it works out I'll be in Seattle for six weeks starting around Christmas.
That's all I can think of to say now... Perhaps I'll make another post soon when I think of more to say, or perhaps I won't post until January.
