It's been a while. Probably too long. Life gets busy sometimes. Then you sprain your ankle and realize you've got nothing to do.
I played basketball last night for the first time in months. It went well, for the most part. I couldn't shoot, but then again I never really could to begin with, so it's ok. I think I played better than I expected, so I can't really complain. Except about the part where I stepped on someone's foot while running full speed and sprained my ankle again. It doesn't seem nearly as bad as last time, but it's still a sprained ankle, which pretty much sucks.
I think the thing that bothers me most is that my dance class has our performance coming up in two weeks and I'm really doubting that it'll be healed enough for me to dance on it by then. Honestly, I've been really looking forward to this whole thing, and now I might have to miss it. That, and our annual physics vs. math ultimate frisbee game.
I've also come to realize that I don't work the pity angle nearly enough. Like there are a bunch of people who are perfectly willing to feel bad for me and I'm just like "Oh, no it's not that bad." And in a relative sense it isn't. But still, it never hurts to make people more willing to help you.
Oh well, at least things are good aside from the ankle. I've been half-assing my way to a pretty decent semester. Only a few more weeks to go.
