I think Best Buy just stole my soul. Or maybe just a lot of my money.

If any of you ever have any computer problems, I would suggest not going to Best Buy. Not that this isn't something I had already figured was a good idea. I just thought that, seeing as they made my computer, they might be able to fix it. Turns out I was wrong. They were able to charge me something like $250 though. So that was pretty sweet.

My video card died or something. I think some of you knew that. Anyway, I took it to Best Buy in order to see if they could tell me how to fix it. They convinced me that I needed to let them do a bunch of things with it. Mostly with lies. Like, seriously.

I'm tempted to go back in there and see if they'll give me at least $30 back. Maybe $60. Really, considering how little their work accomplished, I think they owe me more. But, in all honesty, I feel like they owe me at least $30 for work they said they'd do but as far as I can tell they didn't, and the other $30 for things they told me I should buy based on things they lied to me about.

In any case, I got it working again based entirely on my own mad skillz. With a z. For reals. With an s. I'm not saying the things I did were all that impressive for those of you who know what they hell they're doing with computers, but to me, a hard drive swapping was pretty intense. Especially because it was a 3-way.

But I suppose the important thing is that I have a working computer again. It still has its share of issues, but I think on the whole it was actually an upgrade. I'm still hella pissed off at Best Buy, but at least I can Facebook like a fiend again. That's the important thing.
