Weekend plan update
So, the weekend plan I mentioned last post? Guess what - it failed.
I got the tv-desk/cupboard from IKEA, assembled it, and saw that one door didn't fasten properly. IKEA doors are admittedly not my strong point, so we took it back to see if they could fix it. Nope. It was deemed faulty, they took it back and we got a new one. On that one, one part broke during assembly. Back again to IKEA, got a new one. This one worked! We started the whole thing Saturday morning, thinking that it would all be done by one o'clock or so. Nope, it was finished Sunday 2pm... So yeah, the weekend plan failed almost utterly. Still, I have one lovely cupboard, the old one is on its way to charity, the balcony floor has been oiled and I can start clean the brush and put away the linseed oil. Still need to do the urgent conference presentations...
