Last mid-week holiday this spring
Today was a beautiful Ascension Day, with clear blue sky and 26°C. Naturally, I spent most of the day indoors :-) . I managed to tick of perhaps half of my to-do list, unfortunately not doing the item with the two large exclamation marks (conference preparations). I really hope it can get done on Sunday. Saturday will possibly be an IKEA day, as I've found a potential tv-desk/cupboard that is in many ways better than my old one. And I need some storage boxes for the kitchen.
The weekend plan is:
Saturday: IKEA trip, assembly of tv-desk, sorting/clearing kitchen, oil the last bits of the balcony wooden floor.
Sunday: conference preparations (and this time I really mean it), clothing clearance for charity.
Right now I'm debating whether I shall hem the last seams of the linen top so I can put it back in the wardrobe (= one more thing ticked off the list!), or whether I shall give up and go to bed early (= the sensible option).
