Mixed blessings of Saturday
I slept twelve hours (!), which was much needed, but skewed the entire day. Luckily there were several new posts on the book I'm one of the beta readers of, so I was well entertained. I didn't get out of bed until late late afternoon, for a quick run to the local shop, and to a G&Ds for an extremely late lunch. Tried their new Creme Egg ice cream, but it tastes almost like Dime Bar Crunch. Not that I mind, as I like the DBC, but I expected a bit different flavour.
The bad bits of Saturday was as expected: nothing written, nothing cleared in my room, nothing hoovered. Lovely day, but didn't go out to enjoy it. On the other hand, the parents have experienced snowpocalypse, and their friends near the summer house further north even more so. They probably have to head up there once it stops snowing just to shovel snow off the roof etc. Apparently it's almost 70-80 cm of snow in the garden! (I wish I was home.)
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
