Oh there's plenty more to add, but that's all just generic stupidity and terribleness.

The Mary Sue whose only flaw is clumsiness is more than that. It's almost the very definition of bad writing. It's not bad writing like "ha ha, that was a stupid idea" or "whoa, that was just a really dumb plot twist."

It's bad writing like "Holy crap, I am reading something written by a child, and that child is a complete nincompoop who has no concept of just how embarrassingly stupid they are."

It's so cliche that I just can't believe it could be real. All the other awful crap in Twilight, that doesn't matter. This is the meat of it. This is the utter insanity of it.

Cause really, all the other stuff I can understand. I can understand someone writing it and I can understand moronic preteen girls eating it up with a spoon. But the Mary Sueness, that's what I can't get. I just can't process it through my brain. How can an author be SO utterly clueless?

If she was just a Mary Sue, that would be fine. But a Mary Sue whose only flaw is clumsiness? It's the perfect storm of stupid.
