Let the Fun Begin not_fadeaway

The jet landed in New York right on schedule. Sonya was on the landing strip waiting for my arrival. As I had requested all my meetings had been cancelled and the west wing of the building had been cleared. She also handed me a file containing a list of demons that were standing by, ready for me to pick and choose from.

“Thank you Sonya. That’ll be all. Oh, and alert me as soon as our guests arrive.” I said walking towards the elevator.

“Yes Mr. Hamilton.” She said disappearing from my view as the elevator doors closed.

I punched in the code and silver button appeared. I pressed it and looked over the files again. The elevator ride was… nice. It gave me time to think about Deverian’s plan. I needed at least two or three demons to separate the slayers from the group. Looking over the files again. I found the ones that looked best suitable for the job. Smiling and pulling their files a side I began to read their files in greater depth.

The Prio Motu demon, an ancient Ofga-beast possessing great strength. I hadn’t seen one of these in many years. Ruthless beasts these were, bread specifically to maim and massacre. They were very tall and quite frankly; they were also very nasty looking fellows. I wondered how the slayers would handle two or three of these little babies.

Looking at my watch I began to feel a little bit of annoyance. The trip to alternate land was a taking a bit longer than I had anticipated. I leafed through the files again and found another perfect demon to aid me in teaching the A Team a lesson in manners.

A Vynok demon, a reptile looking creature with a feline life expectancy. Very powerful demons and very, very hard to kill. I guess I’ll be taking one of these with me. If I recalled correctly, Angel had encountered both the Prio Motu and Vynok demons at one point or another. Boy is he going to be surprised to see them again.

Finally the elevator stopped. Pulling the two files I wanted aside I stepped off. In front of me stood none other than Cyvus Vail. Well, Deverian did say he had the most powerful and expensive warlocks creating the battle demons. I smiled at him and offered my hand.

“Vail. So nice to see you.” I said.

“Welcome Hamilton. Deverian said you were in need of demons. I assume you found what you were looking for in the profiles I sent to your secretary.” He replied shaking my hand.

“That I did Vail. Here’s what I got in mind.” I handed him the two files and he smiled.

“Both excellent choices.”

After gathering the three demons that I had picked, I proceeded to give them explicit instructions on how to handle both the slayers and the Angel Team. I was very confident in their abilities. The demons and I made our way to the west wing’s oval meeting office, and as they took their places I pulled out my cell phone and dialed Sonya again.

“Sonya. I will be in the west wing’s oval office. Send Mr. Angel and his associates here when they arrive.” I said and hung up, putting my cell phone back into my pocket.
