I'm not really a house/cuddy fan, but this is lovely. There are sometimes when, even if I don't like the pairing, the author makes it something more. Great job.
aww, that's comforting to know! House/Cuddy was my first ship in the fandom, but i eventually moved on to house/chase. Somehow, i think i'm evolving into a house/wilson fan now too. It scares me a bit =P I've never shipped more than on couple per fandom before, especially not with the same character. It's nice to know that people are open minded enough to be able to read everything i write- i admire that, i find it quite difficult to relate to ships that i dont usually support. =) Thanks hun, it's a real compliment.
Yeah. I'm personally a multi-shipper in several fandoms. In House, it goes in this order - house/chase, chase/foreman, wilson/chase, house/wilson. Notice I'm a pretty hard core slasher. I can't think of a single fandom that I frequent that I actually ship het. Hm...I think that may say something about me... Nah!
It's kind of funny because I only started slashing ...like a year ago. Seriously- before that, it wouldn't have even crossed my mind to slash... partly because I'm still not really sure whether I actually support it in real life. *runs for shelter as people pick up their tomatoes*. I'm at that age where I know what feels good, but also realizes what isn't really practical in real life in a lot of ways. So yeah, I have to find a way to reconcile the two in my mind.
As for chase/foreman- I'm still waiting for one good fic to convince me that the pair is worth considering. House/Wilson is quickly becoming my number one (have you seen any of the gorgeous pictures by elicia8? Those alone were enouygh to convince me)
I started slashing in Harry Potter as a Harry/Draco fan for a short while. I still enjoy the pairing occasionally, but I'm more of a fan now of Harry/Snape and Harry/Voldemort. I started slashing..when I was...God..Its been ages. Maybe I was 14 or 15? I started reading fan fiction at 12, I do believe as a harry/ginny shipper. I have tons of gay and lesbian friends, and I am bisexual. But I totally understand what you mean about supporting it in real life

lmfao! Harry/Voldemort, now that's something i didn't see coming. (laughed out loud on that one and earned myself a few odd glances). I started reading fanfic when i was around 11, but didnt start slashing 'til last year (as i mentioned before). I suppose i only have doubts about real life because I'm one of those 'got an opinion about everything, researched, supported, and informed' kind of people. I like to know where i stand on certain issues and i don't mind arguing over them. (I'm pretty sure I'll get tired of the senseless debating eventually
