It was only a matter of time before someone tried to make this into a movie:
”Bond Director To Make 'World War Z'”
I really enjoyed the book. A good scare. But I worry that it’ll be difficult to effectively recreate the “historical narrative” style of the book. And I don’t want to say that the mixed reviews of “The Quantum of Solace” are making me nervous… but they’re not helping.
Ah well. I’m still a slavish fan of the walking dead. So I’ll still eagerly devour any little tidbits of information pertaining to this movie, hoping to gain any insight into how good or bad it will be. Till then, I pray to zombie jesus that I am not disappointed. I mean, with sludge like “Dawn of the Dead 2” lining the bottom of the barrel, one can only go up…right?
A little bonus: if you haven’t had your fill of the zombie genre by now, here is an interesting little article by “Shawn of the Dead” actor/writer Simon Pegg and his take of fast vs. slow zombies:
