On Purchasing Physical Books
I used to be a stark proponent for physical print and paper books/manga, but I've realized just how burdensome they are now that I'm moving around more. All the titles I'd purchased over the years now just sit in plastic containers at my parent's place because I need to move around too much to feasibly carry those heavy containers with me... Now I don't even get to read them anymore. Digital is just more convenient!
I still don't like publishers that don't offer PDF versions and instead make you use their terrible online readers. *Cough* Renta *Cough*. It's absolutely miserable.... And I had the bad experience of loosing access to all the titles I had purchased when Jmanga went defunct...
I don't know if I'll swear off physical copies forever but I do know I need to swear off buying DJs and Japanese Raws. Like that hobby is expensive............ And I can't read them!
