As some of you may have seen in the last few weeks, ff'net has started a massive crackdown on fic posted there that is not allowed by the terms of service. This has sent the community into a massive tizzy and backlash culminating in authors (well, some of us) being sent rather alarmist private messages

There is not enough headdesk in the world for this. As lilacsigil says, our working theory is that everyone taking part in this protest is no older than 11.
