I can remember my dreams lately. I've remembered more in this past week than in the past several months. Most of them are fairly standard (getting back together with the ex) and mildly symbolic (trying to leave his house, he has his arm around my shoulders trying to drag me down to the cement), but one was really odd and completely unrelated.

I dreamed I was waiting at the UIC-Halsted Blue Line station, except it was clearly not that stop. It was set up more like a train station being built, with just the track in the middle, a lot of gravel and concrete for about ten feet on either side, then a step up where you could wait. On one side there was a soda station that was way too high to reach (someone standing on a ledge had to get it for you) and refills were free. The conductor wandered by at some point to let us know that, if they hadn't all been taken, ABBA themed cookies were being given out on the other side of the tracks. By the time I got there, though (where there was some kind of marketplace), they were all gone. Darn.

Then there was something about a monster at the bottom of a hole, and my sister, Ashe, and I went to a restaurant whose gimmick was that it was set up like a Japanese home's kitchen. The staff was really difficult to find, but the bathroom was AMAZING.

I really have no explanation. I'm not sure there can be one. o_O
