Okay! All caught up!
On Sunday, I had to figure out how to draw feet-wearing-high-heeled-shoes! Because that is something I haven't drawn very many times at all! I still don't know how I feel about high-heeled shoes... they're not comfortable and I have to be extra cautious when wearing them, but they come in so many fun and cute designs-every so often I see a pair that makes me want to be brave and wear them despite their impracticality. Of course, when I get them home they tend to sit in my closet much of the time, as I go to my flats whenever I need a shoe I can actually walk around in. I'm sorry, cute shoes!
And there, I did two drawings last night! Must not, must not make it a habit, because that's why my last venture failed-too many "I'll just do today's drawing tomorrow instead"s, which turned into "I'll just do four drawings tomorrow instead"s, which turned into a dread of getting caught up. So now I'm requiring myself to finish my drawing before I can sleep. Except when my sketchbook is inaccessible. So far it's working!
And two more days of the camp at church. Today I'm staying late to assemble the 108 kids' multiple illustrations into a book for each of them, and tomorrow I'm staying late/coming back in the evening for the wrap-up session with rootbeer floats and a time to see the various dramas, puppet shows and dances the kids learned in other parts of the camp. Ooh, their illustrations are so awesome!! I love these kids.
