Almost a dream job
San Pablo Bay lighthouse and B&B needs new keepers.
Drawbacks: Running the B&B (cooking, cleaning, and paperwork as well as customer service in general). Remoteness from anything.
Benefits: Housing as part of the package. The periods the B&B doesn't get any business. Living right on the water. A definite raise in pay from what I'm making now.
Catches: No TV reception. Dubious access to Internet accordingly. Requires US Coast Guard-issued boat operator's license (commercial grade).
But yeah, the thought lingers.
