Holy crap, that was so not worth the wait. "That" being the new Rizzoli & Isles episode. I'm really glad I'm sort of over this show already, because this episode would've slapped me across the face and stomped all over my fangirly heart if I still actually cared. I hope Angie Harmon is happy the show got on her political soapbox. Indeed. This was

*Squee* I guess since the cast is so young... the girl who plays Isabel just turned 20 (dude, I know!!!) ... so they have all completely embraced the whole twitter/videochatting thing. And god bless them for it. I approve.

Are you serious?!? Oh, my God. Now even I feel old.
You know, I've been thinking the whole Maca/Vero thing after our last comment session, and I've come to the conclusion that no matter how wrong they were for each other, Maca needed that relationship in order to make it last with Esther. Not only because she realised how much she loves Esther, but because, IMO, Vero taught her quite a lot about herself.

She JUST had a birthday about 3 weeks ago. When I first started watching the show and crushing on her, she was still 19. I completely backed away from my crushing when I discovered this. But now that she is 20... I don't feel so bad about it. Well, not a complete perv about it.

Watching their storyline in one, long go (3 days...seriously, I need a life), I let go of most of my ideas that Vero could have be THE ONE for Maca. They could have never worked. Maybe in a universe where Esther didn't exist, they could have worked a bit better, but they strike me as the type of couple who would have broken up and made up at least 3 times a year. I think Maca realised she wanted a life with home, kids and stability and as much as the dude within Maca liked Vero (was she ever as much a dude as she was with Vero... mean that in a good and bad ( ... )

All the making out and locker room hotness was nice, though. <3

Urgh. Maca was such an ass, but not an evil or malicious ass. She couldn't help how she felt, but still... an ass! When both Esther and Vero dumped her, I was like "YES, ya burnt! That's what you get for being such a guy." And Teresa... I love her position in the storyline of being Maca and Esther's biggest cheerleader, constantly reminding them that they belonged together. I like that she eventually liked Vero. Loved the scene in the bathroom after Maca and her broke up and Teresa was there to give her a hug and she said something like "this was a lot easier when I didn't like you." Hee. Ay, Teresa!
