¡Vamos! Back to Spain it is.

Holy crap, that was so not worth the wait. "That" being the new Rizzoli & Isles episode. I'm really glad I'm sort of over this show already, because this episode would've slapped me across the face and stomped all over my fangirly heart if I still actually cared. I hope Angie Harmon is happy the show got on her political soapbox. Indeed. This was it for me, k thx bye!

Now, something I actually give a damn about. I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Spanish tend to do everything better. This assessment has been proven correct, once again, by a show called Tierra de Lobos, and its two female characters in particular. Just when I was starting to go through withdrawal from Spanish lesbians!

In a nutshell, this western-type show takes place in a small Spanish town of the late 19th century. It's a mixture of adventure, romance, ridiculous plots and drama.

So, this is Isabel:

Isabel is one of the daughters of the main family, Los Lobos, who basically own the entire town.

And this is Cristina:

Christina is a saloon girl. Well, yeah, a whore. Bonus uh-oh: she's actually the ex-"lover" of Isabel's father. Icky. On so many levels.

So, one random day, Isabel's little sister goes missing and Isabel goes looking for her in the town brothel. That's the first place I'd be looking, too! Well, while taking a look around, she happens upon Cristina taking a bath. And, let's just say, she isn't too quick to look away.

And this is how the gay goodness kicks off.

Over the next episodes, the attraction between the two escalates first to heated glances and small touches such as these:

And after Cristina chivalrously saves Isabel from a couple of ruthless soldiers, their relationship takes a turn, making my pulse race entirely too fast:

Hnnnnngh!

Still not convinced?

How about now? See, unlike in American network television, in Europe, gay characters are actually allowed to have love scenes. Isabel and Cristina are no exception. Their chemistry works really well, and although the dialogue is utterly cheesy at times, it doesn't matter, because a) it's in Spanish, and in Spanish everything sounds good, and b) the actresses completely sell the scenes.

All of you should check out this YouTube channel for the clips. There's also someone who seems to upload with subs as well, but they're a little behind.

While we're on the subject of things I actually care about, readthesubtext compiled a wonderful top list & picspam for Claudia Joy/Denise from Army Wives. Check out part 1 of the 'Thirty moments where Claudia Joy Holden & Denise Sherwood were outstandingly gay for each other' here. Part 2 can be found here. Damn, I'd forgotten how ridiculously married those two were!

Finally, I don't like Twilight related stuff, but Ellen DeGeneres is a goddess and makes everything work. Here's a hilarious (and by 'hilarious', I mean peeing-my-pants funny) parody she did about the new movie:

Ellen's facial expressions have always been comedy gold! ♥

[edit] Also, what was that I-nearly-kissed-you moment between Regina and Emma in Sunday's Once upon a Time? I HONESTLY thought Regina was leaning in for some lip action at the mine. Must be the camera angle.
