The last month has been INSANE; exams, moving to a new place, general freakiness... But I'm now all settled in my new flat (loving it to bits!), which should hopefully calm things down slightly.
Anyway, bullet points!
Hospital Central is back and I am chuffed! It truly is amazing how this show can still make me as giddy as ever, after all these years. Anyway, a mini!picspam, because Maca/Ester is ~*~love~*~ even though Maca can be such a guy at times.
First of all, Ester admiring Maca's backside (and complimenting it out loud) is just brilliant.
And she's completely right, of course. UNF.
Yep, these two still got it. ♥ Aaand then it all goes to hell in a hand basket when Maca screws up and leaves Ester alone at her book signing. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." And she still does! Oy. *facepalm*Portia de Rossi's new book, Unbearable Lightness is so good, guys. It's funny, insightful and heartbreaking all at the same time. As someone who has, fortunately, never suffered from an eating disorder, I thought it'd be difficult for me to understand what she went through, but her writing is so eloquent and frank that it's very easy to relate to the story.
It was revealed to me during those couple therapy sessions [with my husband] that not every woman's idea of a fun night out was making out with another woman on the dance floor; I was shocked.
Priceless. Also, Ellen & Portia are the cutest couple in the world; I take it you've all seen THE interview.Learn history through popular pop songs: take The French Revolution ("Bad Romance" by Lady Gaga) for example. Cheers for the heads up, atfm. It's been a while since I've been this amused. And some people have way too much time on their hands, I love it.I'm three episodes behind on Lip Service What happened to you, show? I'll catch up, eventually.Shoot. Lecture. Now.
