This is just a great excuse to post hot pictures.
Ever since Cara joined our favourite band of brothers in Legend of the Seeker, I've been extremely fascinated by her obvious need to *pose* whenever possible. Seriously, it started to get so overt that I began to categorise her poses (yes, my life really is that boring), which, for some reason, just made me love her more - probably because she is simply awesome, no matter what she does.
Pose #1: The Agiels Make This Stance Look Just That Much More Cooler
Usage: Whenever she wants to look like a total badass before, during, or after a fight.
Notes: A lot could be said about the in-your-face subtext of the agiel pose, but I'm not going to go there. Oh, no. Also, note the boobs & the way she tends to thrust out her chest in this pose. You know exactly what I'm talking about, you pervs.
Pose #2: Something Is Amiss Here, People.
Usage: Whenever Cara's worried, in trouble, or has a feeling that something isn't quite right.
Notes: It's like she's saying, "I smell a rat, but bring it on. Bring. it on." Or, alternatively, "Oh, crap! I'm in trouble, but if I pose like this, hopefully no one will notice." It totally doesn't work, but she looks hot while doing it.
Pose #3: I'm Totally Battered and Bleeding, But Who Cares?
Usage: Whenever she's been hurt. She was just beaten to a pulp, there's blood all over her, but Cara still strikes a pose like nothing ever happened, because she's just that kickass of a lady. Rawr!

Pose #4: Just in Case Someone Happens to Look at Me.
Usage: Whenever Cara's not the centre of attention. She still makes a total model pose in the background, as if making sure she looks hot if someone's eyes accidentally stray upon her. Mission: accomplished!
Notes: This happens especially in situations where Cara seems to have the need to come across as threatening & dangerous.
Pose #5: My Superiority, Let Me Show You It.
Usage: Whenever Cara needs to let the others know who's the superior one. It's probably not even meant as anything particularly offensive, she just really is better than most and it shows.
Notes: This pose is often accompanied by a hand (or both) on her hip. Superior and just a tiny bit condescending. Fabulous.
Pose #6: She's Cara, She Can't Help It.
Usage: Whenever. Just...whenever.
Notes: Most of the time she seems to do it just because, well, she's Cara. And she's a total badass.
Speaking of the show, if I hadn't shipped Cara & Kahlan before yesterday, I certainly would've been converted by the new episode, because GOOD GOD. It was a 40-minute ode to femslash & Cara going all MUSHY and GAY for Kahlan, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Yeah, Richard who?
Lastly, YouTube fun! This has already been all over the internetzzz, but it deserves to be posted over and over again. Mean Girls Trailer - Disney Version. I giggled and laughed and then giggled some more. Pure ingeniousness.
