It's time for Easter holiday! Finally. Sayonara, Lampeter, for a little while at least. A small breather in Finland after a term from hell sounds absolutely wonderful at this point. Anyway, I'm taking a little detour on my way home, which is why, for the next few days, there will be complete radio silence from my part. Oh, Suomi. ♥
But I obviously can't leave without spazzing over the new Criminal Minds episode. Lots of Garcia, which, in my book, always translates into awesomeness. I'm also particularly fond of the comeback of the eyeshagging, because YAY. All in all, a nice team episode.

- "What about the sprinklers?" Emily, you never try to put out a petrol fire with water. Even I know that.
- Oh, we so need to know more about JJ's past, because, once again, there was clear resentment of the 'small town mentality' from her part.
- Emily's hands fascinate me. She's doing that thing with her fingers all the time now. It must, indeed, be a Paget thing.
- The beginning broke my heart. *sniff*
THE EYSHAGGING. It is on. It is so on.
This last one absolutely slays me, though, because Emily simply leans down and stares at JJ who is staring right back:
They're clearly getting back into their old habits. There's still suspiciously little one-on-one interaction between them, though.
But Garcia. Oh, I love you.
Morgan: Hey, how's Miss Smart and Sexy doing today?
Garcia: Fair warning, Cupcake. As much as I love you and our witty banter, I am all out of witty and banter and I'm struggling with love.
They really should use her more; she has way too few scenes.
And then there's Emily who continues to be awesome. She's sporting the delicious shirt/jacket/suit combo again this week, and you simply can't go wrong with the shirt/jacket/suit combo.
Very nice.
So, no new episode next week (boo!), but after that there should be a bunch of episodes in a row, so it's all right.
Speaking of Criminal Minds, why hasn't anyone posted the gorgeous HQ pics of Paget Brewster & A.J. Cook from the Paley Center panel thingy the cast did some time ago? Hmmm? That needs to be done immediately, because GUH. Those legs, those legs!
And also, before I need to run to the bus stop, apparently Jennifer Beals will do a multi-episode arc on Lie To Me later this season. Nice! The show's doing insanely well in the ratings, too, which is highly surprising (winning its timeslot by a mile; seriously, wow). Usually, all my new shows are canceled after three episodes. Where art thou, Medical Investigation?
Christ, I am so late, and this is totally the last thing, but the preview for today's Guiding Light? Ahhh! How can a canon (should we still say "canon"? Nah.) paring on a frigging soap be so perfectly written? How?!
As somewhat cynical a person when it comes to American TV (and not to mention soaps), it blows my mind that they've developed this storyline for a YEAR. Unbelievable, people. Un-frigging-believable.
