is it wrong to NOT be in a fight with someone? am i disloyal if i dont hate someone because my friends do? where do you draw the line? am i the type of person who does things just because other people wish i would? and if im not that person am i the type of person who doesnt stand up for her friends? when does obligation to others trump my

I know exactly what you're talking about (actually I really do, I heard it from the most unlikely of sources... at least unlikely until a couple weeks ago). Here's my new theory oh this whole fucked up situation. You can't control who people are mad at, and on that same note... is it fair for you to not talk to someone or to feel bad for talking to someone just because they're still mad? Well, Kira my love, I've come to a conclusion... what? you wanna hear it? Oh right then ;)

Screw it. I don't force anyone to be mad at anyone else just because I am, so NONE of my friends should expect that of me. People get over situations at different speeds. It took me quite a bit longer than most to get over this, but you know what? I am. I don't dislike anyone at the moment and that feels GREAT. I'm happy where I'm at. I'm happy I'm finally able to lift that anger off of me, it's just not worth it to me anymore. I understand that others aren't ready, and I would never want to rush them (hell they may never get over it, and that's totally fine as well), but no one is going to tell me who to be friends with. They can warn me to be careful if they so choose, tell me I'm making a mistake, that's all fine (a good friend should even do that if it's what they think it right). But that person can't then be mad that I'm friends with someone they don't like. It's not a betrayal, it's moving on.

Also... I totally almost said the exact same thing that you're in trouble for. Like I mean, the only reason I didn't was because I got an e-mail and during that time the subject had changed.

Personally I think it was a harmless thing to say. No one got hurt, it was just a little bit of an explanation. Nothing more, nothing less. But I'm sure I'm the minority of that opinion. Chin up hun. I know you didn't mean anything bad by it, and so does everyone else. This'll all just blow over eventually... just give it some time. ::hugs::

oh my god janine, youre like a choir of heavenly angels. its nice to know im not the only one who feels like this. the fishbowl here can get a little murky sometimes. its nice to hear an outside voice of reason tell me im not crazy. what you say makes a lot of sense, and it means a lot to me because i know you understand the situation. i just hate being in the middle, you cant ever do right in the middle. i was trying so hard to stay out of things... bah! oh well, it will blow over, and honestly what i said had no malicious intent attached. i acted the best way i knew how, im comfortable with the way i handled a sensitive situation, in my mind i did right by both. at the end of the day thats the most i can expect from myself.

btw, its nice to talk to you again, and im glad youre doing so well, im really proud of what you have accomplished.

p.s. i was talking to someone about a series of unfortunate events the other day and i thought of you <3

Awww... I just love a Series of Unfortunate Events! I totally understand the whole fishbowl thing... It's a crappy situation and you're not crazy. I know you had no malicious intent with what you said, like I said, I almost did the exact same thing as you. The middle is a tough place to be, but you're strong and things will turn out for the best. As long as you are happy and comfortable with a decision you made, that's all that matters. Everyone had different opinions and you can't make everybody happy... Only yourself, and that's what's important.

I totally can't wait for Gossip Girl tonight! Such a fun show!

P.S. I will most likely be seeing you Tuesday and Maria's dinner (if I get off work in time)!
