Is it summer yet?
There's a snowflake drifting past my window, so I decided to cheer myself up today by making my schedule for CONvergence! Because nothing screams 'summer' like 4th of July weekend and general geekery! :)
I was going to commute from my apartment again, since it's only a 15/20 min drive to the convention site, but I've got two panels at 9:30am that I want to attend, and two at 10pm. And the drive home at 11 after a full day of con is hard and sleepy! I'll have to take a look at my budget and see if the hotels even have any rooms available! But even skipping one night of the drive might be worth it.
I am excited about a variety of panels - 80s cartoons! - and introducing Lad to his first convention in ages. He says he went to what he thinks was CONvergence about a decade ago when he was dragged by a now-ex, but clearly, attending with me will be far superior.
