Lately, I am feeling emotions so intensely again. I like that I feel like the self I used to know.

Also, my room is the cleanest it has been in months.

Tonight I bake pumpkin pies.

Basically, everything is great.

Today it was in the 60s, and it will be in the 70s for the next 3 days. As I was driving this afternoon with the windows down, I was happier than I have been in Charlottesville in months. And for a moment as I approached the Shenandoah Joe parking lot, I actually felt euphorically happy. I have felt that way in Sarasota many times, but I think this ( Read more... )

This afternoon I biked downtown, had lunch at WFM, went to SNAB where I bought two French news magazines to feed my growing obsession with the French Presidential Election, and then biked over to Bayfront Park for a little while. So spring break has arrived and I am spending it here in Sarasota in order to finish the rough draft of my thesis by the end of the week. My other two goals for the week are to do my taxes and update my CV so that I can start applying to jobs for after graduation sometime soon. This is the second day now that I have had a pretty severe sore throat. Other than the pain associated with that though, my life is going pretty well.
