I really enjoyed reading this during my lunch break.
The Uninvited Guest by akamarykate, 4,406 words. Death isn't cut out to be a god-parent, so he sends a certain Lancre witch in his stead. I've always been sorry that we didn't get more of Susan's childhood (and more of Mort and Ysabell post-Mort), and this story slots neatly into the gap. I particularly enjoyed the interaction between baby Susan, already a force to be reckoned with, and Granny Weatherwax.
