Okay, so I'm in need of some collegely advice. It's pre-reg time, as my beloved G-towners are already fully aware of. However, in just thinking about my schedule, I have already come across a rather difficult issue I need help settling.

Or, several actually.

First of all, I have to take my senior seminar on Wednesday evenings from 4:15 to 5:55 PM. However, the Japanese class I'm supposed to take, Intermediate Advanced Japanese 1, is offered from 5:40 to 7:20 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays. I e-mailed the seminar professor, who is also my advisor, to ask about it, but as there is a time difference, I'm still waiting. So yes, unpleasantness #1.

Second, I have yet to fulfill my requirements for 5 courses taught in Japanese. Apparently the Japanese course I'm in now will count as either 1 or 2 of those requirements, but Professor Mori can't tell me whether it will be 1 or 2. Also, they have no idea which of my other courses they might be willing to let fill my requirements. For chrissakes, I am *not* the first person to study abroad at Nanzan. *STAB* Anyway, I have few choices for those requirements: Advanced Oral Communication, Readings in Japanese, Business Japanese 1, and Intermediate Advanced Japanese 1. We already see the issue with IAJ1. I also am completely uninterested in Business Japanese. AOC and RiJ are only --Hang on, there is a cat having some difficulties in the backyard - a little distracting, forgive me...

Okay, either it gave birth or the racoons ate it...

So AOC and RiJ are only offered fall semester, and Business Japanese 1 and IAJ1 are prerequisites for their matching spring courses, which means if I don't force them into my schedule in the fall, I'm screwed spring semester if they don't give me enough courses from Nanzan.

Also, Georgetown requires that we have 38-40 courses and 120 hours completed to graduate, and to count as a course, the class must be 3 credits or more. However, the majority of Nanzan's courses are 2 credits, which makes me squick at the fact that though I will have more than enough hours to graduate EARLY, I may not be able to graduate on time because I won't have taken enough "courses".

I also have to shove a Philosophy class into one of the next two semesters' schedules. We all know how much I love that kind of class >:(

And...so yeah, should I attempt to graduate early? Provided I have no issues with the course thingy and I am given proper credit for my Japanese stuff, if I take philsophy in the fall, I can do it...My mom says I shouldn't because I have scholarships to pay until the end of four full years, but my second semester is mostly going to be a waste anyway unless I can work in a theatre minor at the very end...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Which ArchAngel are you most like?

Michael. You're most like the ArchAngel of Defense. You like to hit things, and you like naked people, preferably cute naked people. A real down-to-earth angel who likes frogs and is easily distracted by bright, shiny things.

So, who are you in Angel Sanctuary?

You're...Uriel! You control the element of Earth, and you're the angel of death. Despite your often intimidating appearance, you're very kind and sweet. You destroyed your own vocal chords because of the guilt of your supposed 'crime' against the one you loved, Alexiel. We wish there were more people like you around.
