Wah, your post is like a review from Singapore Tatler's Best Restaurants Guide! I reviewed 22 restaurants for the guide this year and your review is very good! I had some bad experiences at Cherry Garden, and had to give them a poorer rating. The food quality is high but so are the prices, and in the balance, I don't think it's worth it. There are other restaurants with the same price range and with even betetr food and service ( ... )

The best Chinese restaurants in Singapore are: (drumroll)

- Min Jiang at Goodwood Park Hotel
- Hua Ting at Orchard Hotel

These two are excellent, 9 out of 10 rating for food and service.

The other very good ones are:

- Golden Peony at Conrad Centennial Hotel
- Crystal Jade Golden Palace at Paragon
- Crystal Jade Palace at Ngee Ann City

These three get 8 out of 10 for food. Service standards vary.

but i think the colours in the photo not as vivid as real-life..
