No muses aren't fickle things they are moody bitches that love to torment you with awesome ideas when you're busy doing something else and when you're finally ready to work on said ideas they laughingly turn away and say nope not happening and you're sitting in front of blank screen.
*sigh*
Yeah my muse is being a bit moody at the moment and doesn't want to cooperate with me.

Now back to staring at my blank screen!!!!

LOL, I have most defenitely used the phrase 'my muse is a fickle bitch' on more than one occasion. It might actually be a tag....But at least we aren't all alone with putting up with our muses that don't like to do their job. *sighs with you* And OH YES, I hate the blank empty page. I can't figure out what's worse. A half finished project that's mocking you. Or a project that's all in your mind and noting on the page that's mocking you.
Either way, the mocking. Not fun.
I hope your muse is nicer to you than mine is being to me at the moment. It's out of inspiration pretty much in general. *sighs with you again.*

And then you have two projects one half started and the other that's all in your head and they are BOTH are mocking you!! *cries even more*
And no my muse is still mocking me. Last night I think I stared at the empty screen for 3 hours. *sighs* So I of course procrastinated by going on twitter. But is it procrastination if all you're doing is staring at an empty screen???

This made me giggle and recieve strange looks. But its true. ALL OF IT IS SO VERY TRUE. I pretty much always have more than one unfinished project going on that I want to finish, but then things happen, but not only is there mocking, but then there's putting off, and then there's more mocking. *sigh*
I'm sorry. I'll happily offer to yell at/kick your muse, I do this for Sunny sometimes. Though to be honest, I don't think it's ever worked...
Maybe I need to work on my tone?

And I'm joining the muses are fickle bitches cursing. I actually started to write snippets for one of the requested fanfics, but then I was done for the day and even though I got ideas, my muse lacks motivation to write it out. Stupid lazy muse. :/ Writing breaks are a bad idea.
Of course it also doesn't help that muses come up with their best ideas at night in bed when you're just about to fall asleep, only to forget the best version once you wake up in the morning.

Really? Cause this really awesome person made it just for me. ;D (It was actually hard to pick just one, but I loved this with her long hair swept to the side and the bare shoulder she's looking over. I ended up not being able to not pick it, LOL.)
LOL, we can all form a cursing at our muses club. XD I'm totally like that. I have so many have written/snippets for my meme that keeps starting and then stalling out. My muse is all "LETS WORK ON THIS" and then just disappears sometime during the writing. Muses are slippery I tell ya.
Its true. So very true. Muses have the worst timing when they decide to be cooperative. Usually for me when I'm no where near a computer, or like you said, your in bed and fall asleep and then wake up and forget.

Yes, very slippery! And since that happens frequently when I write and I was curious I went and read some of the other snippets I wrote at some point and then abandoned. And dare I say there's actually SOME GOOD STUFF BEING NEGLECTED ON MY COMPUTER! *kicks that fickle slippery muse*
Nowhere near a computer, about to fall asleep in bed OR TOO BUSY WITH REAL LIFE STUFF TO INDULGE HER!
