Car Trouble Update
Well the prognosis is that the car needs a new water pump. Better yet to get at it with a car like mine the timing belt needs to be removed. The guy suggested replacing that while it was off. I told him that it needed to be done anyway (about 20,000 miles ago!). So I gave him the go a head. The estimated cost is $550 which is steep but not as bad as I was expecting to pay for just the timing belt replacement (and this way I get both done at once).
He told me that it was a 5 hour job so they wouldn't be able to finish it today. I told him that was fine but that I needed the car to go out of town tomorrow. Hopefully he listens to what I say. I don't want them to wait until 11am to start the work. -_- I am just happy that they are open on Saturdays because then I don't have to wait until Monday to get my car back.
