I smell like pot and roses

Stopped by the fresh store near my doctor's office this morning to pick up my phenomenal soy face cleanser. Sure, it's $38, but it lasts me at least a year and a half, smells like cucumber and feels like silk, and I adore it. Plus it's good enough to remove most eye-makeup and if you put it on clean skin & don't rinse it off it acts as a moisturizer.

Since I was at the store already, I got to spray myself with my beloved-but-not-owned cannabis rose. (I have their cucumber baie, sugar lychee, and hesperides scents already, so I can't really justify buying more until either I have a lot more money or I have used up more of the ones I do have.)

The doctor's appointment that preceded my fresh visit was a good one. I'm definitely going to have my thyroid entirely removed, although I haven't scheduled the surgery yet. Also, tomorrow will mark a whole 4 weeks of not smoking!

Came home & spent a zillion hours on hold with the IRS, then got sweaty in the kitchen with today's experiment in healthy cooking. It's a tangy broccoli and onion non-souffle (made w/steamed, pureed broccooli; sauteed onions & red pepper flakes; and nonfat greek yogurt, mustard, & worcestershire). The flavors were great but I have to fine-tune the cohesiveness a bit before posting a recipe -- hopefully increasing the proportions of yogurt will work to bind it better, but I may have to give up and add egg whites or something.

I had a kind of funny earworm experience the other day -- I was listening to Pandora while I was working, and this catchy song came on, and I realized that I kind of knew it even though I was expecting the singer to be female and didn't really recognize it but kind of knew what was coming next. And it was boppy and I was curious, so I toggled over to my browser to see what it was, and it turns out it was AAR's Gives You Hell, which I recognized from Rachel singing it on Glee and had somehow managed to never hear otherwise.

*facepalm*

So it's been in a constant loop in my brain for the past three days. And I spent a bunch of my downtime (downtime! something I never, ever have normally, but this was a special overtime thing where I was mostly being a body at a desk.) at work yesterday reading AAR fic on my phone until the battery died.

Also, THE LOSERS, people. It makes me happy. Why doesn't it make you happy? Don't you want to see Papa Winchester and Uhura have explosively violent foreplay?

Aisha: I don't want to hurt you.
Clay: You're not going to.
Aisha: Oh yes I am.

And in case you missed the other clips from the Losers I posted the other day, or saw my post before the embeds were up, here they are again:

Anal Rape Puppet Theater

(No, I'm not kidding, that's actually how the movie starts.)

And the "Let's Watch Jensen Get Himself Killed" scene, which is probably my favorite bit of the movie, not least because he strips in the elevator.

You know you want to watch the movie and write me fic now, right?  (Especially of the Cougar/Jensen variety, but I'm not picky, okay?)

ETA:  My apologies for the multiple embeds in a row -- the cut tags & embeds are not playing nice.
