I got a phone call from my biological father in Dallas. He finally paid the money he still owed to my old school in Chicago, so now my transcript has been released and I can actually start the application process at UAB. Yay! Hopefully, I'll have enough time to enroll for this Spring. Slow day at work, we all had fun just milling around with too much time on our hands. 'Twas a good time. No real plans tonight, probably going out shopping or something to that effect...I dunno. Probably gonna go raid the kitchen right now. I've got tomorrow off of work!!! HOORAY!!!! I'm happy. I think I'm going to go bug the people in the Undergrad Admissions Dept at UAB tomorrow afternoon to see if they've received my transcript yet. They should by then, it's being over-nighted by Concordia U. today/tonight. Congratulations!! We can now be diagnosed as nerds!!! (N.E.R.D.) It stands for Non-Erosive Reflux Disease, which basically means your hydrochloric acid will not erode your esophageal tube. Good news for all! Well, kids, it's time for me to eat something before my blood sugar bottoms out. Buh-Bye now!
