I will be doing lots of driving today... I'm in Mt. Pleasant at the moment for an appt at 4p so I'm hanging out at the library. Then I have a long drive back to home... 2.5 hours. woot. There is a guy in the library at this moment who is chewing oh so loudly... normally this does not bother me... but the library is very quiet so I can hear his open-mouthed chewing very well. I can now see why so many are disgusted by it lol. I never thought I would be one that that bothered me... maybe it's because he's in a library and shouldn't be eating at all and that's why it's bothering me.
I have a job interview on Tuesday! Yay! I don't know what it'll be like since it's a phone interview. I wonder how well these interviews turn out. Sherry got a job this way though so I'm hopeful. I'll make sure to let people know what happens with it :) I am hoping for more calls for interviews though... hopefully for some in colorado... that'd be awesome. A girl can dream can't she?
I'm bored and feel like rambling but really, I don't have anything to ramble about. Except for that guy who chews loudly and... mushily. Speaking of chewing, I apparently grind my teeth at night and that's what is causing my toothache/jaw pain. So now I may have to buy a lovely mouth guard to wear at night. I'm not that thrilled for 1) it's about $60 and 2) if they start looking into my insurance for something like that I'm afraid papers will have to be filed finally that say I should no longer be on the insurance and 3) I do not want to wear anymore dental stuff like that! I had about 3 years of that in middle school and I would like to be done now.
Another random thing- I believe I may be getting a sunburn on my left arm from driving. That will be weird.
So, what I really want to do is go to grad school. I don't really want to teach high school students. I know, I said it was fun and something I could do. However, it's fun in the way that video games are fun for me. I really enjoy them, but I have no desire to do that for an extended period of time. It's something that I can give up in other words because although it's fun, I also would like to do something else. I prefer to continue with school. I like learning and I love research so I can become a professor and then teach at a MUCH more relaxed setting. That sounds so much more appealing than entering into the high school world of politics and rules... I may teach for a few years in order to help pay for my schooling but it'll be something to do that will get me to where I want to go plus it's good experience. Now I just need to find a grad school I like... not to mention take the GRE... I'm not even sure what tests I have to take for that. If anyone knows, please let me know!
Off to my appt now...
