Livin' la Vida Bowie.
Hey kids. Super-long time, I know. I've been a maniac lately. And if I haven't been a maniac, I've been a vegetable. Work is killing me, y'all. I've never had as difficult a time as I have in this store. I'm constantly picking up the pieces, but can't hold everything together long enough for my co-workers to stay on board. And I'm beyond encouraging them to stay, because I know that if I had a better opportunity at my door, I'd grab it.
Performing has been awesome. Last weekend Rubenesque Burlesque took a roadtrip to Reno, where we shook it for an audience of fifteen! Hahaha. But despite the small turnout, as far as the trip went, I've never had more fun with my girls, even though I was the old lady asleep by 1:30 a.m.! Hahah. Love it. We've got a big show coming up in April for a '70s-themed Hubba Hubba, and I'm going to be rocking in it twice: in Rubenesque's disco Star Wars and with Honey Penny for our Bowie tribute. You'll hate yourself if you don't make it. Haha.
I am also debuting a new number this Saturday, with my taking a turn as Daria.
As for the Owl, I feel as if I've been really busting ass there. I really enjoy my daily feature, and I have to work on building even more of a features section. I'm getting used to the current workload before adding more. We've got a lot of vision, and people seem to finally be paying attention!
