feline moral dilemma

I need advice from the other pet parents on my Flist.  Please.  (and I know there is sat least one vet who may be reading this)

Elliot was just diagnosed with FIV.  Which I understand is most definitely -not- a death sentence. The vet tells me that with proper care he can lead a full healthy life.  And I don't want to give him away!

Herein is my question: What about the other kids? Jayne and Amelia will test positive -- because they each had one booster back when I lost Kaylee to FeLV.  It caused a bad reaction in Amelia. SO we decided that since they were indoor-only kitties, probably the vaccine wasn't necessary.  Especially since it's not completely PROVEN anyway.

So???? Do I test Astrid and Mayhem? Do I give them boosters that may or may not protect them?
Depending on what article you read... FIV is transmitted only through deep skin tears from biting ....or more commonly passed through grooming and sharing food and water dishes.
Food and water? In that case they are already very exposed. They have lived together for a few months now.

So if I decide to not vaccinate-- Am I a bad pet parent?!?   They all get regular vet visits.  But if I don't test and vaccinate if need be, am I not doing EVERYTHING I can to give them a healthy life?   What about Jayne and Amelia --- do I vaccinate against something that I have no way to know if they are infected with or not??

I am in serious need of advice.
Help.

Jayne and Elliot, both seem to be asking,  "When's dinner??"
