So, I think I'm funny. Usually about 10 minutes after the fact.
Case in point: Yesterday at work I decide to start calling around to find a new (lady parts-as Jeri says it!) doctor. The clinic where I've been going has changed insurance policies- and no longer takes my crappy insurance. SO the Dr. that I have seen for over 15 years now-- is WAY to expensive.
So I call and ask. "I was wondering if you have any doctors who are accepting new patients- and accepting my insurance."
Found a group- YAY!
The appointment-maker lady askes me several questions. One being: "We have two doctors taking new patients. One male and one female. Do you have a preference?"
I respond with "No." Because I don't. But after I get the details and hang up I'm going over the info in my mind and I laugh.
Jeri gives me a look and asks what's funny.
I explained the scenerio and told her what me response SHOULD HAVE been:
"We have two doctors taking new patients. One male and one female. Do you have a preference?"
"Who has smaller hands?"
Hee.... See? Funny. Not laugh out loud hilarious. But worth a giggle at the time.
Not as much now.....maybe it was the month-end stress getting to us!
That happens.
