Well this week has certainly been a bit hellish. 3 Midterms = brain-fried Thao. Goody. Well one down, 2 to go. College is truly no different from IB, except with greater chances of skipping just because we can. The picturesque area of UW is a lovely place to be when you've got time to kill between classes. And I can personally attest that the shopping is great to find those hidden treasures that set us apart from the other Northface [or LL Bean if I want to push it] toting faces around campus. As for the food, one can find the tastiest and/or oddest food on the Ave or in the Village if one is feeling adventurous. It is akin to eating out every day. How luxurious.
Even better, we now have fabulous weather this week in Seattle. I welcome the change I must say (as much as I like splashing through puddles). This unseasonably sunny weather means, if you haven't already, a great time to bring out all those daring boots we all bought in preparation for fall but were too worried about the rain ruining them. I predict boots and classic trenches with fashionable LBD's all abound. And of course paired with the soft scarves we've all been raving about. Add to the equation, the Starbucks signature Hot Chocolates and I am good to go for Autumn quarter. Academia and fashion are my haven. How nice that they can now come together.
