Long day, but not too bad. Felt a bit better today. Mostly because everyone else was hot and whining and for some reason it makes me happy to see that I can hold up in the sun. I mean, I get hot too, but I'd rather just hold my head up high and get on with it.
I got to be front and center everytime because Miss Hunter liked the idea of having a big red flag for the rookies to dress to...so the rest of the center line was also veteran guard members. Coye and I had to keep switching places from the frontline to the backline when we'd run out of lines to march to. (The backline was composed entirely of percussionists and Miss Hunter would say, "Switch!" And our lines would switch.) I had to leave early for ACT. I was glad because it was hot and my muscles hurt, but still I thought sitting around all day would be very boring.
Oh, and by the way, driving Clunkie was a blast... I think everyone got a good laugh out of the poor beast. The ACT was boring. I made a 24 with a lot of Christmas treeing in science and math. If I didn't feel like reading the answer, I just didn't and made a pattern. I was very sweaty and gross from camp though, so it was quite uncomfortable to sit so long during the test.
So, I guess I've got a good enough score for dual enrollment english. I'm set for now!
Today was fairly uneventful... I'm driving Clunkie again tomorrow. Dad made me clean off the windows...they were really gross. I had to sit on the hood to clean off the windshield.
Hmmm...I went to Wal-Mart today with Mom and Amos. I investigated white make-up for guard and got pens, red hair dye, some neon jelly bracelets, and a new hairdryer because mine was sparking the other day.
I kind of packed tonight because I'm going to South Carolina tomorrow. Mom, Megan and I are spending the night before attending JP and Liz's wedding.
Earlier I was thinking, but I don't want to talk about it. *sigh*
P.S... Thanks Rach, haven't commented back to your big comment yet, but I will.
