(no subject)
Well, the first day of rookie camp was...alright, I guess. I had fun, but I'm wishing Reb would go away. It's pointless for me and Jes to be captains if Reb is still around teaching the rookies what to do. Granted, Jes and I did get to give commands for awhile.
It was hot, but Puerto Rico was hotter, so I didn't complain. We tried on our uniforms. Mine looks like a maternity top. :( *le sigh* But so does Jasmine's. Hah. Chuck's sister passed out and fell flat on her face. Miss Hunter almost freaked out. She yelled, "Three minute break!" and motioned for us to go to the logs. Loryn managed to bust her nose open, but she was okay. Well, for like five minutes, but then she went home. She didn't eat breakfast and she locked her knees when we were at attention. *shrug*
Oh, and Crystal taught the guard the wrong way to go to attention and parade rest while I was gone. I tried to tell her it was wrong, but to no avail. It was made obvious that I was right when we got into a block with the band and the guard was doing it wrong.
Uhh...We wasted a lot of time. Jasmine and I got our knees hurt due to Crystal's super excessive use of plies in the warm-up routine. And then Crystal decided to bust our wrists through excessive tossing. Eh, well, it's got to be done.
Gotta remember to get my shoes. I don't think I really want to hand them over to Mrs. Giebert. (She's getting annoying...)
I don't think I have anything else to complain about. Nope.
Oh, by the way, go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it's hilarious!
